Need to keep my bedroom under surveillance?

cjh4n32n asked:

My mom has a new boyfriend and over the past couple of months a number of my personal possesions have came up missing.

I need to know if there’s a way I can install a camera in my room and be able to check it either through the internet w/e I want to, or have it record through the day so I can check it later.

Any info would be appreciated. thanks

a normal camera hidden behind something might work. if not you could always go for the nanny cam type. he wont even expect to look for it if its the size of a pin. good luck

I believe some webcams have this feature. Also, I know that eye toy thing for the PS2 can be set to be triggered by movement and sound to start recording, without the showing, and you can watch the video later.

You can hide a cam corder under your pillow. :)

If you have a webcam, you can have it record with a Media program, even when your screen is blank or inactive.

Or, you can just do the old trick of hiding a video camera somewhere in the room (most likely a high spot) that can give you largest view of the room. Or just focus on items that you really don’t want stolen or you think he may take. Each day, just rewind the tape and record over to save you money if nothing eventful happens.

There are many cams available outside the stores, by the tinest and the most powerful cam out there and install it in the room (or pierce a hole in a purse put the camera in it facing the bed, then hide the purse but dont block the cam.)
and the cam also should be wireless and should be long lasting (giving long working times.)

1.2 Ghz Spycams or “nanny cams” are available on eBay for under $30. They are wireless and require only a 9V battery to power the cam, you plug the receiver into any VCR remotely. I use them as heli-cams on my RC helis.
