How do I record 4 simultaneous video feeds using 2.4 ghz wireless cameras and receiver?
WonderY asked:
I want to set up a surveillance system at my small business. I would like to set up four 2.4ghz wireless cameras to transmit video to a wireless receiver in the next room. I would like to get a quad view 4 split screen with live pictures from all the four cameras and also be able to record all four of them simultaneously. I would like the option to use it via USB on my Mac/PC to both record the screen with the 4 split screens and also as 4 separate video feeds. I tried a cheap alternative on eBay, the EasyCap USB 4 channel 2.4ghz receiver that came with the MultiViewer software. It is not compatible with Vista and cannot record all 4 feeds at the same time. Please can any one suggest a way around this? I am sure there are cheaper alternatives to do this. I just don’t want to spend hundreds of dollars on surveillance equipment. I already have the cameras. I just need information on hardware – receiver, and the software to use on my PC. Please help me.
